Tillmans Barbecue Grandma's Red Sauce

Grandma's Red Sauce has been a Nelson family staple since the 1940s, when my grandmother, Ann Nelson, developed the recipe in Miami, Florida. I'd describe this sauce as a sweet and tangy Southern-style BBQ sauce. It's sweet, but not overly so, with a distinct, tangy vinegar note.

For a unique flavour profile, our competition BBQ team mixes all three of our sauces over a low heat. It's the secret blend we use when we compete in BBQ competitions.
